In this day and age, Energy Healing is a term that the majority of us have heard over the past decade and particularly within the last five years. I am a proponent of Energy Work because our body stores the trauma we have experienced. Think of the mind as the conscious and the body as the subconcious. This is a simplified explanation of the mind and body connection.
Relative to energy, we are all operating within our very own “energy field”, that radiates outward and can be considered our “aura”, or our electromagnetic field that surrounds our body. If we recognize that we have such an electromagnetic field, we can then consider the reality that if everyone has an aura and we came together in cohesion for even 5 minutes, we could change the energetic output of the world. Think of it like this, “when clocks used to have a pendulum – clockmakers noticed that clocks on the shop wall initially ticked at different times. Eventually, the clocks fell into a synchronous pattern after a few days of being on the same wall together. This is the law of physics in which vibratory frequencies in a closed system, will reach the most stable, lowest energy state in synchrony”. (This is from an excerpt of the book, Everything You Need to Feel Go(o)d by Candace Pert).
I believe at this time, we are all feeling this collective “energy” or pull to be better. To be kinder and more compassionate to ourselves and others, more than ever. I believe this is the energy we are sending out that has been magnified due to the Pandemic. We have all felt a call to action, (for the most part), and the end result is a call to “heal”. Energy Work allows a release of any trauma that is stuck in our body and we cannot access through thought. Furthermore, we are only aware of approximately 5% of our thoughts and 95% is stored in the subconscious, (our body).
Therefore, in theory – Energy Work allows the bodily release of stuck and stored trauma and if we heal our trauma, we heal the world. We can do this by moving your body, researching your pressure points, understanding your Energy Meridians and Massage releases stuck “energy”. Energy Work can also be done through an Intuitive/Energy Healer and I have a practitioner that I have worked closely with, named Kathleen Quinlan, who is definitely transformative: https://orlandointuitivehealing.com/
So take your pick of what type of Energy Work you might want to try, but most importantly – let’s get to healing!
